Visitor Access & Camera Security

For government contracts, we are required to register visitors to our premises to quickly identify who has had access in case of a security breach. Therefore, we ask visitors to our premises to provide identification, and we note the name and document number of the ID.

Additionally, security cameras are installed in and around our premises. INTER ensures adequate shielding of the recording equipment. The placement of cameras is handled with care, respecting the privacy of employees and visitors. Visitors are informed of camera surveillance via signs or stickers at the entrance doors of the building.

Where Do We Store Your Data?

INTER uses various software products where your data is stored. With the help of this software, we can manage our services and maintain contact with our (potential) customers, suppliers, visitors, and applicants. In the agreement we have with the software providers, your privacy is well protected.

Besides making good privacy agreements, we also spend a lot of time securing our IT systems and personal data. We employ a Privacy Legislation Coordinator who ensures that we comply with relevant laws and regulations. We also have a Security Architect responsible for our information security policy. Should anything go wrong, we take immediate action. Any data breach is handled as effectively as possible and, if necessary, reported to you and the Dutch Data Protection Authority.

INTER takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized modification. If you believe that your data is not properly secured or if there are indications of misuse, please contact our Privacy Legislation Coordinator via: privacy@inter.nl

INTER does not sell your data to third parties and only provides it if necessary to execute our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation. We sign a data processing agreement with companies that process your data on our behalf to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality of your data. INTER remains responsible for these processes.

If you requested a quote from us but did not become a customer, we will delete your data no later than one year after our last contact.

If you did become a customer, we will retain your personal data for seven years after the end of the fiscal year in which the agreement with you was fully executed. Applicant data is deleted as soon as the candidate is no longer relevant to the position unless explicit permission is given to retain the data for 12 months.
